distance learning day 1

Kia ora bloggers, today was my first day of distance learning.

Today I have made my daily schedule and completed some numeracy tasks.

For numeracy this term we are focusing on measurement. Today's tasks were to estimate how long a metre is. To do this I placed a pen on my starting point and then took one step guessing how long a metre may be.

Task two was to figure out how many minions and hand sanitizers could fit in your 2-metre social distance gap you can have five minions and 11 hand sanitizers could fit in the gap.

Task three was to find a couple items from around the house and see how many of them you could fit in the 2-metre social distancing gap I decided to measure my RC car and my Chromebook.

Finally, I did my daily schedule

  1. Hey Jack, awesome numeracy work! They sound like fun tasks. Well done setting up your schedule as well, it looks very well organised. How have you found it follow so far? Will you follow the same schedule each day? Happy Friday! Caitlin :)
