Today I have completed my numeracy and literacy tasks.
For literacy today we had to think of our favorite book, tv show, fairy tale, or movie and answer some questions regarding the theme or topic of the story and also create a poster.
The book I chose was Billionaire Boy by David Walliams. The idea of this book follows Joe Spud who is the richest kid in England and has everything he could ever want except a real friend.
Joe goes to a really expensive private school where people know how rich he is and only wants to be friends with him for his money. He decides to leave and go to a public school where he doesn’t tell anyone he is rich so he can try to make a true friend.
This book tries to remind us that money doesn’t always make you happy and friendship is more important than money.
My favorite part of numeracy today was when I went outside and measured the perimeter of my front yard.here is the picture I drew to show my working
that is me done until tomorrow

Hey Jack, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the garden task, did you use a calculator, or did you manage to calculate it yourself? I have not read or heard Billionaire Boy, I like the reminder that money doesn't make you happy, there is a saying, 'the best things in life are free,' I guess that is very true and important to remember. MrsD :o)
